Meeren Amin is a senior associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on representing clients during complex tax controversies in front of the Internal Revenue Service. Meeren has experience in a broad range of tax matters including R&D tax credits, reasonable compensation, captive insurance, section 1603 grants, whistleblower cases, section 6700 investigations, and exempt organization compliance. He represents clients during examination and through the Appeals process. In addition, he has experience with tax planning.

Meeren is admitted to practice in North Carolina. He is not currently admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and his practice is limited to matters and proceedings before federal courts and agencies.
